Royal Family: The Queen is launching a new luxury scent for dogs that costs just £9.99

We all know the Queen loves dogs, especially Corgis, and the Royal Household simply wouldn’t be the same without them. But we also know that dogs (even, we’re sure, the most regal ones) can use a little sprucing up from time to time. That’s where The Queen’s luxurious new scent for chic puppies comes in.

The new ‘dog cologne’ is sold at Queen’s Norfolk Retreat, Sandringham Estate, in the gift shop. The Sandringham Royal Estate crest is on the bottles and they cost £9.99 each. Even dogs deserve to feel like royalty once in a while, after all.

The cologne apparently smells like “coastal walks” and is meant to be sprayed on puppies that have just been cleaned up. It is part of the Happy Hounds collection in Sandringham who also sell a coastal dog shampoo. The perfumer who created the cologne, Norfolk Natural Living, said it was “a rich, musky scent with citrus notes of bergamot.”

The cologne has a “coastal” scent

The company said The sun: “Cologne for dogs is becoming increasingly popular, especially with people who like a little luxury in their lives and want to please their pets. It is unisex so can be used on both men and women dogsand it’s really durable.”

The palace has not disclosed whether the queen uses the cologne on her corgis. Her Majesty has owned more than 30 corgis since becoming queen and they’re certainly used to the royal treatment: Darren McGrady says HELLO the palace had a “royal menu for dogs” when he was there.

Recently, footage of the Queen interacting with her corgi-dachshund mix Candy at a Platinum Jubilee celebration went viral.

Candy could be seen interrupting Her Majesty, who was going through her royal memories, during a Jubilee meeting. The Queen hit Candy on the nose and asked her “where are you from?” Then, as the dog walked away, she remarked, “I know what you want.
